A while back, I wrote about how most people should write more things, but those things should be shorter. The other day, I realized that the same more-often-but-smaller principle applies to me with speaking in meetings.
I have two problems:
- My is-this-worth-saying threshold is too high, so I don’t talk often.
- When I do talk, I ramble on longer than I should which dilutes my point.
So I need to speak more but speak less. And now I’m wondering what else this more-often-but-smaller principle could help with…
