Lesser talked about things I’m thankful for

It’s Thanksgiving here in ‘murica, so here’s a list of things I’m thankful for that don’t get the credit they deserve:

• Trash bags with drawstrings
• Cheap yearly memberships to state parks with running trails
• Being married to the one person in the world that I actually enjoy living with
• Shoelaces that don’t slip
• Free tools for podcasting, because that’s a great way to keep in touch with friends
• Peeps glasses lens cleaner (thanks Mom)
• People who like giving each other crap, because ridicule is my love language
• The book Peopleware, which introduced me to team jelling
• Laparoscopic appendectomies
• This website/app blocker for productivity
• Toothbrushes with the built in beeper timer thingie
• Having a book in my pocket at all times, thanks to phone ebook readers
• This blog, because it gives me a reason to think about this stuff
