“Downloads is the new Desktop” as they say. Crap just gathers there. It’s worse than my garage.
Use a few minutes over this holiday break to set up something like Hazel (for macOS) or File Juggler (for Windows) to auto-trash that junk. (Or write a shell script and throw it in a cron job if you want.)
