At my company, we came up with a list of “don’t-worry-abouts”, i.e., things [new hires] shouldn’t be concerned with during onboarding. This was done to make sure the plan didn’t feel overwhelming.

- Hands-on coding and feature delivery.
- The team’s performance metrics.
- The bugs backlog.
- Production incidents.
