What made you unhappy today?

If happiness is really the default, then our time is better spent looking for things that make us unhappy rather than happy, so we can remove them.

So try it: every night, write down what killed your joy that day. After a while, look for trends. Cut those things out of your life.

For example: I’ve learned that naps make me unhappy. I somehow thought I loved them.
