What made you happy today?

Step 1: Every night, write down what made you happy that day.

Step 2: After a few weeks or so, go through it and look at trends.

Step 3: Make those things happen more often. Create plans.

  • Talking to one or two specific people make me disproportionately happy, so I’ve started being more intentional about it.
  • Seeing the data about how eating healthy makes me happy removes a lot of the temptation to eat junk.
  • I often stress about a certain meeting, but it turns out it consistently makes me happy so I don’t know what I was getting so worked up about.
