Your mom is my management philosophy

People sometimes ask me what my management philosophy is. I don’t know the answer. It feels like asking “what do you think about people?” or “how do you live your life?” It’s too broad.

Sure, there are management principles that I believe in. I think team jelling should be a first class citizen. I think the manager hat never really comes off. I think managers should give less advice. I could link to about 200 more blog posts here, but none of those things are a philosophy. Are they?

Do you have a management philosophy? If so, send it to me. Because I’m drawing a big whopping blank on this one.
