Tell the managers first

Dearest Senior Leadership,

When you’re announcing an org change or a benefits change or a process change or really anything, tell the managers first.

As a manager, it sucks to try to explain and defend an announcement that I’m hearing about for the first time.

As a direct report, it sucks when my manager is in the dark like me and can’t answer my questions.
