Tie your shoes better

A while back I discovered “Ian’s Secure Shoelace Knot” and my shoes haven’t come untied since. It’s about as easy as the standard shoelace knot but much more secure.

And if you’re thinking “that’s what a double knot is for, idiot” then you’re the idiot because double knots are annoying to untie when you need to. With Ian’s secure knot, you just yank on the dangling string to untie it, same as the standard knot.
