Bento boxing your time

Here’s the process:

  1. List all the activities you need or want to do in a given week
  2. Beside each one, write the percentage of time you’d ideally spend doing that thing
  3. Be ruthless in making those percentages match reality

For example, if you want to spend 10% of your working hours in 1-1 meetings, then stop thinking “I need to meet with these 10 people for half an hour each week.” Turn it around. Think: “I have 4 hours per week for 1-1s. How can I make the most of them?”
