12 week goals: April 4 – June 26, 2022
Overall takeaways:
- I should stop planning ambitious stuff in the fourth quarter because we’re always sick.
Goal 1: Write my promotion packet
How it went: SUCCESS! I wrote my promo packet.
Weekly tactics:
✅ Weeks 1-12: Spend 30 minutes per week adding things from my brag list to my promo packet
Goal 2: Do six 40-before-40 adventures
How it went: FAILURE!
This quarter was a cruise ship disaster for my family with nonstop sickness. I don’t think there was a single week where we were all healthy, so I spent most of it in survival mode and these seemed unimportant.
Weekly tactics:
❌ Weeks 1-2: Screen free digital detox weekend
❌ Weeks 3-4: Volunteer at a race
❌ Weeks 5-6: Go trail running at Table Rock
❌ Weeks 7-8: Compete in a Spartan Race
❌ Weeks 9-10: Go to a rock climbing gym
❌ Weeks 11-12: Learn a real song on the keyboard
Goal 3: Do the most important house things
How it went: MEH!
Weekly tactics:
✅ Weeks 1-4: Finish painting and tweaking the office (I’m happy with it!)
❌ Weeks 5-8: Replace the back door (Estimate was like 5x more expensive than I would have guessed 😱)
❌ Weeks 9-12: ??? (See above, spent the quarter in survival mode)
Goal 4: Lose 10 pounds
How it went: MEH!
Weekly tactics:
⚠️ Weeks 1-12: Don’t eat anything on my “never list” of foods
⚠️ Weeks 1-12: Keep up with my planned exercise routine
Mixed results here. Things that went well:
- I stuck with the lifting routine thanks to mycopilot.com.
- I started going to an actual gym which felt like luxury.
- I was more consistent on hitting macros.
- I lost 5 pounds.
Things that didn’t go well:
- I still wasn’t consistent enough on macros.
- Running took a back seat due to sickness and holidays.
